Are you passionate about health and fitness? Do you LOVE the Core Fire Conditioning classes at Rhode Island Hot Yoga? Here's your opportunity to practice with the best and learn how to lead a class yourself! In this 3-day weekend intensive, we will give you all the tools that you need to lead our signature Core Fire Conditioning class.

Core Fire Conditioning is a high energy, low impact class designed to build physical strength and cardiovascular stamina. Class is done in a heated room (~ 95 degrees) and uses a mix of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and traditional exercises. This upbeat class is set to music and is appropriate for all bodies and abilities. 

Diversity & Equity Scholarships

We are excited to announce that we will be awarding THREE Diversity & Equity Scholarships for our 2026 program; we have two spots are available for BIPOC individuals and one spot for transgender / non-binary applicants. Our goal is to foster diversity and help everyone feel welcome in our community!

This training is appropriate for anyone interested in leading classes at Rhode Island Hot Yoga, as well as anyone who would like to take a deep dive into this class and enhance their personal knowledge. The curriculum includes modules on class structure, common exercises, anatomy and cueing, timing, music selection, class philosophy, and professional ethics. Our trainees will receive interactive, hands-on teaching practice throughout the course.

Prior experience / certification in other fitness modalities is helpful but not required.

GIANNA AUGER - LEAD TRAINER

Gianna (she/her) is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a multi-certified instructor in yoga and fitness. She completed two Inferno Hot Pilates Teacher Trainings (Level 1 and Level 2,) Core Fire Conditioning Training (2021,) served as Assistant Trainer for Core Fire Conditioning Training (2023,) and led the Core Fire Conditioning Plus Training (2024.) Gianna has also attended numerous additional yoga and fitness trainings, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her classes. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and can't wait to share her knowledge with you!

Friday January 16th, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday January 17th, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday January 18th, 9:00am - 5:00pm

DAILY SCHEDULE

Each day includes a 60-minute heated class and a 1 hour lunch break. The course provides a total of 21 in-person training hours.

All training sessions will be held at our Providence location at 166 Valley St.


TRAINING COST

TOTAL INVESTMENT: $849 due by January 9th | $200 deposit required to secure your spot

EARLY BIRD RATE: Sign up for $649 before Dec 15th & save $200!

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Your training fee covers all in-person training hours, daily 1-hour classes during the training weekend, our Core Fire Conditioning class manual, a pre-programmed HIIT timer, and additional reading material.

TRAINING APPLICATION: Acceptance to this program is by application only. If you identify as BIPOC, trans, or non-binary and are interested in teaching in a studio environment after graduation, we invite you to apply for our Diversity & Equity Scholarship.

POLICIES: All trainees, please review our attendance, payment & graduation policies before applying. Once your application has been approved, we will contact you to receive your deposit. Please note that completion of this training does not guarantee employment at Rhode Island Hot Yoga or any other business.

TRAINING PREREQUISITES: We recommend a minimum of 6 months' weekly attendance at our CFC classes or a minimum of 50 classes total prior to the start of our program. If you are not a student at RIHY, we recommend a minimum of 6 months and/or 50 classes of a similar style (hot HIIT, cardio, dance, other modalities). Prior fitness / yoga training is helpful but not required!
